Daylight Saving provides Long Bright Days and Cool Evenings!

Since spring forward, the time has changed, and the days are much longer. Our East Coast sunsets are now later, which is wonderful for beach weddings. Some of the most significant advantages of Springtime Beach Weddings revolve around this shift in time.

  • To start, the later the sun sets, the longer the day.  This is best because most weddings are scheduled in the evening.  But most beach goers want to be on the beach during the peak sun.  Not many people want their wedding surrounded by thousands of people frolicking on the beach in their bathing suits.  So, with the sun setting later in the day, it provides plenty of time to allow your daytime beach goers to be off the beach before the ceremony time begins.  So, these springtime weddings are lavish for better privacy on the beach for weddings and elopements.
  • Another advantage to the longer springtime days, are the cooler evenings on the beach.  Not that it ever gets really cold in South Florida but it does get a bit chilly in the winter months.  So, these soft cool evenings are just perfect for laid back, stress free beach weddings.
  • For all couples who want an amazing value for their photography for their wedding, here it is.  Scheduling an evening wedding that leads up to sunset also gives us wonderful timing to capture the most important moments during the Golden Hour.  This is the hour before the sun sets when the light is softer, less shadows, and no squinting tyring to look into the camera..
  • Perhaps most importantly, it is still less likely to rain in the Spring.  Those rains are the a brides beach loving dreams worst enemy.  With the warming of the year and upcoming summer, the Spring months have cool eveings and less likley to be spoiled by rain.
