Planning a Beach Elopement or Wedding in Florida

Small Private Wedding or Elopement to Larger Gatherings
  • Do you want a small initiate setting on the beach and a private dinner afterwards?  Maybe you just want your parents and closest friends, the entire group would be small.  With smaller groups, there is a lot more flexibility when choosing locations.  And depending on the location, smaller groups might not need a permit compared to larger groups.
  • A mid sized guest list is a more manageable when Planning a Beach Wedding.  Most areas do require permits for groups larger than 25 people but there are still some beaches throughout South Florida that do not, your beach would be free!  But proximity to hotels, restaurants, and other venues is stronger consideration when planning for a larger group.  Along with parking and access to the beach.
  • Larger groups for 50 or more people do require a bit more planning.  Most beaches do require a permit for larger groups.  Alogn with parking and beach access for a timely event are key.  Some locations have much easier parking access than others.  Most location do require paid parking as well.  With larger groups, planning around proximity to hotels, restaurants, and reception venues, is important to help make things esier for everyone.  Of course, arranging for transportation to and from the beach wedding and reception would help ensure timeliness, it’s not for everyone.  But, know the location and planning accordingly, helps make everything run so much better.
